AACAP-PAC, the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s (AACAP) federal action committee, advocates for child and adolescent psychiatrists and their patients in Washington, D.C., by educating, supporting, and electing congressional candidates who advocate for child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health.


  • The PAC ensures that Congress hears our message and priorities and keeps AACAP strongly positioned to fight for child and adolescent psychiatrists.
  • The AACAP PAC is available exclusively to AACAP members.
  • The PAC has received 497 donations from PAC members that has supported more than 100 federal candidates.
