CAP Exposed Video Series

The CAP Exposed Video Series, produced by the Committee on Medical Students and Residents (MSRs), offers an inside look into the exciting journey of becoming a child psychiatrist. From learning how to get involved in AACAP as a medical student or trainee to how to match in psychiatry residency, this video series is a unique resource for all aspiring CAPs. Made possible by the AACAP Abramson Fund, this series aims to guide and inspire the next generation of child psychiatrists.

How to Do CAP Research Workshop Series: A DEI Initiative

This series aims to address the barrier to entry into research by providing an overview of fundamental research skills and showcasing the diversity of child and adolescent mental health research topics, as well as research mentors within the AACAP community. This project is sponsored by the AACAP Diversity and Culture Committee, along with the AACAP Research Committee, and supported by the AACAP Abramson Fund.


NextGen CAPs Video Series

The NextGen CAPs videos, which are sponsored by the AACAP Diversity and Culture Committee and supported by the AACAP Abramson Fund, showcases the wide array of pathways into child and adolescent psychiatry. The series highlights diverse practitioners at different stages in their career discussing the roles and opportunities within child and adolescent psychiatry.

AACAP-PAC is a separate segregated fund established by the American Association of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Contributions to AACAP-PAC are completely voluntary. You may choose not to contribute without reprisal. Contributions are not limited to the suggested amount, subject to overall limits. Contributions or gifts to AACAP-PAC will be used for political purposes and are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Voluntary political contributions are subject to limitations of FEC regulations. Foreign nationals cannot contribute to AACAP-PAC.
